Sick Blue is a rockin' four piece band from the San Francisco Bay Area. Singer Bryan, guitarist Steve and drummer Billy have been jamming together since March of 2005. Steve and Bryan's appreciation of (and inclination towards) improvised music was immediately apparent and is an intrinsic part of the band's live sound. Billy is of a considerably more technical mindset and found, after an exhaustive 7 month search, a like-minded bass player in Josh, to make up a dynamically solid rhythm section.

In Sick Blue's sound, a culmination of a wide variety of styles and influences is evident... a bluesy, funky, grungy sort of rock & roll with soul. At a Sick Blue show, something that can be expected is simply energy. This is a band that feels its music and wants you to as well.
